The 25th edition of Exposec — International Security Fair took place from June 4–6, 2024 in São Paulo, Brazil. As one of Latin America's leading security trade events, Exposec brought together more than 400 exhibitors and 20,000+ visitors from the security, surveillance, and access control industries across Brazil and the broader South American market.

For Fengtaida, participating in Exposec 2024 was a strategic step in strengthening our presence in the Latin American market — a region experiencing rapid growth in commercial security infrastructure, smart city deployments, and industrial surveillance projects.

Products Showcased at Exposec 2024

Our exhibition focused on PTZ camera solutions specifically relevant to the environmental and infrastructure challenges common across Latin American markets — high ambient temperatures, tropical rainfall, and remote installation sites with limited grid power. The products that drew the most attention included:

• IRS2 4K IR Speed Dome with Air Wiper — The integrated air wiper system proved to be a compelling differentiator for buyers in high-humidity and coastal environments. The camera's IP66 rating and auto-cleaning mechanism directly address deployment challenges in tropical climates.
• Solar PTZ Camera Package — Our 300W solar + 180AH lithium battery system generated strong interest from integrators working on highway monitoring, oil & gas perimeter security, and rural utility infrastructure — sectors with significant off-grid deployment needs across Brazil and neighboring countries.
• IRB Dual-Lens PTZ Bullet Camera — The direct-drive PTZ bullet format, combining wide-area coverage with targeted zoom capability, resonated with buyers specifying cameras for port facilities, warehouse complexes, and open-perimeter industrial sites.

Buyer Profiles and Market Demand

The visitor profile at Exposec reflects the distinct character of the Latin American security market. Conversations at our booth revealed several consistent demand patterns:

• Price-to-performance is the primary evaluation criterion. Latin American buyers tend to specify based on functional value and total-cost-of-ownership rather than brand recognition alone — which positions Fengtaida's factory-direct OEM model very favorably.
• Local technical support is a major purchase factor. Many integrators asked about regional distributors, warranty handling, and spare parts availability in Brazil. This feedback directly informs our distribution partnership strategy for the region.
• Hybrid wired/wireless deployments are common. Several integrators work on large-area projects where running cable is impractical — our 10km wireless bridge CPE was a natural complement to the PTZ camera discussion for these buyers.

Connections and Follow-Ups

Exposec 2024 enabled us to establish meaningful contacts with Brazilian importers, security distributors, and system integration firms at various stages of evaluating Chinese PTZ camera suppliers. We were particularly encouraged by the level of technical sophistication among visitors — detailed specification questions about zoom ratios, IR wavelength, ONVIF compliance, and third-party VMS integration were common, indicating a mature buyer base ready for genuine OEM partnerships.

All leads collected during the exhibition are being followed up by our sales team. Sample requests and RFQ inquiries from Exposec will be prioritized through Q3 2024.

Fengtaida's Latin America Strategy

Exposec 2024 confirmed our view that Latin America — and Brazil in particular — represents a significant growth opportunity for Fengtaida. We are actively evaluating distribution partnerships and are open to discussions with importers and regional resellers looking to carry the Fengtaida product line or establish an OEM arrangement.
